Candy sought to create a groundbreaking digital platform where Major League Baseball (MLB) fans could connect through officially licensed collectibles. Utilizing blockchain technology, the goal was to transform fan engagement by enabling a secure marketplace for buying, selling, and trading digital assets. The design approach centered on creating a visually immersive and user-friendly experience tailored specifically for sports collectors.

Our Solution & Approach

To address Candy's needs, the focus was on building a seamless, user-centered experience that enhances engagement and simplifies NFT purchasing. This led to the development of an intuitive dashboard with dedicated sections—Home, My Collection, Marketplace, and Profile—ensuring effortless navigation and a clear user journey.
An interactive mystery pack purchasing system was also introduced, to add a sense of excitement and surprise. Detailed collectible views showcase essential information, including rarity, edition, and stats, enriching the overall platform appeal and enabling users to make informed decisions about their collections.

Impact & Results

The enhanced user experience led to higher engagement and satisfaction. Key features like the mystery pack and detailed collectible views were particularly well-received, driving increased retention and trading activity.

From launch through the MLB season, Candy’s platform generated over $1 million in NFT sales, capturing fans’ enthusiasm and solidifying its place in the market. The success of the launch and the strength of the core technology team boosted investor confidence, leading to a $100 million investment and a $1.5 billion valuation.
